Engage with STEM Starts

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and maths. STEM based learning helps kids to understand how the world works. When kids do STEM activities when they are young, they get better at thinking, asking questions, and coming up with creative ideas.

It also helps them discover cool things they might want to do when they grow up—like being a scientist, engineer, or inventor!

Science

The study of the natural and physical world, including subjects like biology, chemistry, and physics.

Technology

The creation of tools and techniques, such as computers, apps, and robotics, to simplify life and solve problems.

Engineering

The design and application of scientific and mathematical principles to create structures, machines, and processes.

Mathematics

The study of numbers, quantities, space, and change, which forms the basis for many scientific and technological applications.
